About Trauma Counseling Associates

Founded in 2014, Trauma Counseling Associates (TCA) has spent over a decade helping personal injury victims recover from the emotional impact of accidents or traumatic events. Specializing in personal injury trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), TCA delivers short-term, evidence-based counseling led by licensed clinicians.

What sets TCA apart from other behavioral health providers is its focus on removing barriers to care. By working on a lien basis, TCA removes financial stress and ensures that the cost of care is covered by the at-fault party. With in-person appointments in the Greater Phoenix area and online services across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas and Utah, TCA provides compassionate care exactly when it is needed most.

Mission

TCA provides high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy for those recovering from personal injury, with a commitment to accessible care and partnership with the personal injury community.

Values

At TCA, team members are guided by six core values that shape every aspect of the care they provide. They demonstrate Accountable Productive Performance by setting clear goals and delivering high-quality trauma counseling services. With Foundational Integrity, team members uphold honesty, transparency and ethical behavior in every interaction. Person Invested Connections ensure supportive relationships with patients, building trust and promoting healing. Through Professional Purposeful Vulnerability, team members model openness and humility, creating a safe space for patients. Progression Focused Learning drives continuous education, keeping TCA clinicians current with counseling research and best practices. Finally, Strategic Constructive Collaboration guides teamwork internally and with external providers, delivering effective, coordinated care tailored to each patient’s needs.
