Tania Barr was born and raised in Mexico. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Nevada and Utah with four years of experience working with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. She has a background in working with relationship issues, anxiety, behavioral issues, chronic pain, coping skills, depression, developmental disorders, education and learning disabilities, family conflict, grief, self-esteem, stress, trauma, and PTSD. Her therapeutic approach includes motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), cognitive processing (CPT), solution-focused brief (SFBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), and trauma-focused (TF-CBT)
